Juliet Biscotti’s love of musical theatre began when she started performing at KISS theatre in Wilkes-Barre. Her most memorable roles were Kim Macafee in Bye Bye Birdie and Kathy Selden in Singin’ in the Rain. This lead her to audition for the musical theatre intensive at the Joffrey School of Ballet in New York City. She attended the Joffrey School intensives two summers in a row under the direction of Matthew Prescott and Maximilien Baud. The following year, she was accepted into the musical theatre intensive at A Class Act New York where she studied and performed a showcase under the direction of Sean Patrick Doyle from Kinky Boots. In 2018 and 2019, Juliet was accepted into the Broadway Artist Alliance(BAA) musical theatre intensive program with a concentration in dance and acting.
Some of her Master classes included Broadway Dance Audition Technique with Thayne Jasperson (original cast Broadway’s Hamilton), Making Your Audition Song count with Randy Graff (Tony Award winner City of Angels, original cast Broadway’s Les Miserables), and Broadway Dance Skills with Clay Thomson (Broadway’s Matilda, Newsies, and King Kong). One of her best memories was sitting down with the casts of Mean Girls and Hadestown to learn more about the industry. Juliet has also received private coaching in acting from Disney Director, Wendy Faraone. She is a 2023 Crestwood graduate. She was a part of their drama productions and has performed in Freaky Friday, Into the Woods and Estella Scrooge. She was excited to be a part of the feature film F-Word, directed by Heidi Germaine Schnappauf, where she received an IMDB credit for her role as Brianna(www.imdb.me/JulietBiscotti).
Currently, Juliet is a dancer and technique teacher for the Volé Dance Company at Penn State University. She is awaiting the release of the action film 12 to Midnight, directed by Mark Savage, in which she plays the role of Vanessa Cooper. Miss Juliet is looking forward to sharing her love of musical theatre with Tracey’s Academy of Dance this summer!
